Two Michelin Stars: Il Ristorante - Niko Romito

Fine Italian cuisine is at the heart of Il Ristorante - Niko Romito – one of the proud two Michelin-star winners in Dubai. The restaurant, located at the Bulgari Hotel & Resorts, was conceptualised to showcase traditional culture through its cooking. From Parmigiano Reggiano soup to roasted langoustines salad and spaghetti with sea urchins, this eatery serves up favourites that will transport you to the scenic Italian countryside. An exclusive curated, vegetarian degustation experience, avatara is defined as the reincarnation of soulful Indian food. Helmed by Passion F&B, the culinary masters behind The World's 50 Best lauded Trèsind and Trèsind Studio, avatara focuses on locally-farmed, seasonal ingredients, presented with panache. After starting life in the intimate space formerly occupied by Trèsind Studio at voco Hotel, the restaurant has relocated to a larger purpose-built space in Business Park 1 in Dubai Hills. The venue presents an intimate experience that sits just 30 diners a night. Each dish from the 16-course menu arrives with an explanation of the ingredients and origin, often with a personal anecdote from the chef.

Its central location, on one of the pretty plazas in Wasl 51 mall, offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Given two of the three owners focus on sweet treats, it's worth saving room for dessert.

Situated on Level 24 of The Link at One&Only One Za’abeel, Sagetsu by Tetsuya is a One Michelin Star restaurant that epitomises the pinnacle of Japanese culinary artistry in Dubai. Led by the esteemed chef Tetsuya Wakuda, celebrated for his innovative approach blending Japanese ingredients with French techniques, the restaurant offers an evolving menu that celebrates seasonal flavours and meticulous craftsmanship. The name Sagetsu derives from Japanese words meaning ‘sand’ and ‘moon’, symbolising the restaurant's aspiration to harmonise gastronomy with astronomy. Upon entering, guests are greeted by an elegant ambience featuring bamboo and wood accents, complemented by panoramic views of Dubai's iconic skyline, with the Burj Khalifa as its centrepiece.
One Michelin Star: Smoked Room

Hidden within chef Dani Garcia’s Leña in St. Regis Gardens, Palm Jumeirah, Smoked Room has seats for a maximum of 14 guests at a time. Sat in a semi-circle facing the flames of an open kitchen, diners are treated to a meal that’s as much about culinary discovery as it is about eating. Within its first six months of opening, Smoked Room Dubai received a Michelin star. There are two menu options available to guests, Kõsei no Hi, priced at AED600 per person or Matsuri which is AED950 per person. However the dishes are largely left up to the chef, as is typical for an omakase-style restaurant.
