Dibba Bay Oysters

Rustic seafood spot perched on the water
closebackBack

It's known for its juicy, plump oysters and now Dibba Bay, the only oyster farm in the Middle East, has two farm-to-table alfresco outposts: a rustic farm shop at Jumeirah Fishing Harbour, and a full restaurant by the beach at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort at JBR.

Secure one of their wooden tables, perch on a bench and soon you'll be slurping your choice of raw or grilled, locally-sourced, sustainable oysters, served in three sizes with a variety of their signature sauces and toppings.

Feast on fresh seafood at Dibba Bay

Whether you are a fan of simple preparations – Dibba Bay's signature shallot vinaigrette is the perfect accompaniment to the salty delights – or looking for something more exotic like their lemongrass and coconut cooked Thai Kick, you'll be able to sample sumptuous platters of six (from AED89) or a dozen from AED159 at a snip of the usual cost.

Those not wanting to satiate their oyster cravings can savour locally-smoked salmon by Salmontini or opt for locally produced burrata by UAE farms, mopped up with freshly baked bread by Viking Bageri.

Our top tip? Seek out sunset oyster hour, from Monday to Thursday between 4:30pm and 6:30pm, and you can feast from AED8 a shuck.

Dine at the award-winning 3Fils or dessert bar Brix at the Jumeirah Fishing Harbour.
