Live concerts and more things to do in Dubai from 3 to 9 February

The course will take runners on a 21.1km journey from Burj Khalifa to Burj Al Arab, featuring live music, cheering crowds and cityscape views. You'll get fit and test your endurance, so aim to cross the finish line and celebrate at the buzzing finisher’s park. Registrations will open from 7 February at the race village, where you can collect your bib and goodie bag, so sign up and be part of the challenge.

The final week of Sikka Art & Design Festival is here! Running until 9 February at Al Shindagha Historic District, the immersive celebration of creativity brings together the region’s most talented artists. Wander through one of Dubai’s oldest neighbourhoods, as it transforms into a vibrant hub for exhibitions, installations, live music, poetry readings, film screenings and hands-on workshops. Held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the festival is a must-visit for art lovers of all ages.

Elevate your nights with the finest genre picks at Jazz Avenue, DIFC, as the swanky music series brings world-class performers to the stage every weekend until 22 February. Expect Afro-Cuban rhythms, Latin beats and modern jazz influences, with a star-studded line-up that includes powerhouse vocalist Daymé Arocena, Brazilian sensation Vanessa Moreno, British soul singer Omar Lye-Fook and Grammy-nominated artist Jazzmeia Horn. Rockstars Rivermaya are reuniting for one epic night at Coca-Cola Arena on 9 February. Get ready to sing along to anthems that defined generations in the Philippines and beyond, as the band takes you on a nostalgic ride through their biggest hits. Original members Mark Escueta and Nathan Azarcon will deliver charged performances of classics like 214, Elesi, Himala and Awit ng Kabataan, celebrating their legacy with The Reunion World Tour.

Catch the thrill as elite SWAT teams from around the world come together in an action-packed competition. Hosted by Dubai Police, the UAE SWAT Challenge is a high-intensity course that tests tactical expertise, assault precision, officer rescue skills and obstacle navigation. More than just a contest, the challenge fosters international cooperation and camaraderie among special forces. You'll get to experience the action firsthand and join your own SWAT-style drill, as well as explore the Heritage Village featuring traditional crafts and cultural exhibits.

Known for chart-topping hits like El Sueno and Goldigger, the artist has dominated the electronic scene, ranking among Beatport’s top artists. Joining him is Dutch duo Parallelle, fusing live instruments with deep electronic grooves in tracks like The Hunt and Sanctuary. Joining the line-up, Imen will deliver a set brimming with full-on house rhythms.
