Ski Dubai has a packed programme for kids of all ages this summer, with training camps and fun activities in July and August.
One of the city's most famous attractions, Ski Dubai has a packed programme of great activities this summer, including dedicated training camps for young winter sports fans, a summer camp and more. All of this is in addition to the ski park's year-round offerings – and as it's also one spot in the city where you're guaranteed to stay cool, there's never been a better time to get your skis on.
Level up your kids' snow skills this summer

Throughout July and August Ski Dubai is offering awesome five-day training camps for budding young skiiers and snowboarders, with slots available across both months. There are ski camps for kids aged 3-6 and 7-13, and snowboard camps for ages 8-13 – with options for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners for all three camp types.
Over five days, participants will get to develop and hone their skills in a daily lesson – 90 minutes for snowboarders and older skiiers, and 60 minutes for skiiers aged 3-6. Ski Dubai provides pretty much all the equipment your child will need, including skis or a snowboard, boots, socks, insulated trousers and jackets, and the all-important helmets – all they'll need is a pair of gloves.
The ski resort's expert instructors will guide your young ones on all the best techniques and skills they'll need on the slopes. And after five days, they'll have levelled up their winter sports skills – and be ready for the next adventure.
Camp prices when booking online:
- Ski camp ages 3-6: AED895
- Ski camp ages 7-13: AED1,030
- Snowboard camp ages 8-13: AED1,030
If you have two or more children wanting to join the camps, Ski Dubai offers a 10 per cent discount for the first additional sibling, and 15 per cent for the second additional sibling. Learn more or book a Ski Camp or Snowboard Camp now at Ski Dubai's website.
Super summer camp fun

What better way to beat the heat and stave off boredom among your young ones than to enrol them in Ski Dubai's summer camp? With options to sign up for anywhere between one day and two months, the camp will keep your kids entranced with non-stop activities – while you can enjoy some downtime.
Running Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, the camp offers snow park rides, penguin encounters, snowman building, team-building activities, treasure hunts, a magic show – and even trips to VOX Cinemas, Magic Planet and Yalla! Bowling, all nearby in Mall of the Emirates.
Along with all the fun, your kids will also enjoy lunch and snack breaks. The summer camp starts at AED350 for one day per child, up to AED8,000 for the full two-month run – see the full programme and book now at Ski Dubai's website.
Play with penguins and get silly in the snow
If the summer camps or skiing lessons aren't your thing, you can visit Ski Dubai as normal throughout the summer – and with its unique attractions, it's sure to be a hit with little ones. Your kids will love meeting Cuddly, Lollipop and the rest of the resident gentoo and king penguins with their expert caretakers, or learn about the aquatic birds and what it takes to protect them in the wild with a behind-the-scenes tour of their facility.
After your penguin encounter, the Snow Park offers all the best bits of winter in a huge 4,500sqm space. Lay back and make snow angels, go tobogganing on a winding path, build an army of friendly snowmen in the Snow Plough Playground or venture through the Ice Cave featuring elegant sculptures.
Skiing sessions and lessons for kids aged 3+
It's never too early to start your children on the slopes, and Ski Dubai is an ideal place for small skiiers to learn and practise. With five different slopes of varying difficulty, skiers of all abilities can find a path suited to them – and Ski Dubai offers lessons (as well as the ski camps above) for those aged three and up.
If they're not ready to zoom down snow-clad hills just yet, consider going head-to-head in a round of Snow Bumpers – classic bumper cars with a snow ploughing twist. Alternatively, there's no doubt zorbing – a fun sport where you run (or roll) down a slope in a padded inflatable ball – will have everyone giggling uncontrollably.
And for children over eight years, the Snow Bullet is a fun-filled ziplining experience that shoots you 16ft above snow-capped trees and skiers. Plus, with a tubing run to bring out your competitive side and a climbing wall up a rocky mountainside, there's enough to spend a whole day away from the slopes.
And cool thrills for teens and adults too
Ski Dubai doesn't leave its older fans out of the fun; all the activities here are equally as exciting for adults, and are sure to bring out your inner child. Slip down the frosty hills, enjoy the picturesque setting from North 28 Cafe, go sledging or simply enjoy the views from the chairlift with your loved one.
A popular highlight with older kids (as well as adults) is the Mountain Thriller, a whirlwind tube ride that sees you race 150m down a mountain at speeds of up to 40kmph, twisting and turning along the path. Need a break afterwards? Sip on Ski Dubai's signature hot chocolate from the terrace of the resident cafe, overlooking all the action.
If you just can't get enough of all the ski resort feels, book a stay at one of Kempinski Mall of the Emirates' Aspen Chalets. This five-star hotel has gone all out, with rooms reminiscent of rustic Swiss-style cabins and clear views of all the action on the slopes.
